Welcome to the David LaMotte Fan site. Not a club, but an incredible simula... ok, not that, either. It's just a web site that's been around for years, in homage to David LaMotte and his talent.

History
In 2000, Star met David in the Arlo Guthrie chatroom "Blunderchat." They talked about music and life, and started an email correspondence. When David had layovers in Chicago, Star was able to travel to O'Hare to meet with David a couple of times. (Remember when you could meet a friend in the airport? Those were the days, my friend.) In August of 2001, Star created DavidLaMotteFan.com.

The site is 100% Star's, and her responsibility (ok, along with the Site Staff...) David approves of the existence of the site, and has given two thumbs up to the new look. David has also promised to provide some new content - photos and videos and song clips.

Future Goals
Goal one is to complete this site. Even when all of the pages are viable, they will be tweaked and changed until they are just how Star wants them. Please, please provide input for the site. Comments, suggestions, poems, photos (especially of David, like at gigs or something) - all are most heartily welcomed, and Star and staff will do their best to work it into the site. Thank you to my friends at work, who make it ... fun just is not the right word. Sometimes funny is the right word. Surreal fits a lot of the time. That includes my team, Dawn. Yep, we're the mini team. And it also includes the larger team, with Arun and Sumana and Narendra and KK and Avinash and John and Socrates and Tim and Mike and Laura and David.

And then there's the bigger team, and I'm just stopping there, because I'll forget someone, and there's another Mike who LOVES to catch my errors, so I'm stopping and not mentioning more people in that next team level, nope. Except for Mike, I mean, and that was only so he can't call a typo on me for forgetting him.
